|Quienes somos||March of Remembrance is a Christian prayer walk that provides a platform for Holocaust survivors and their descendants to give their testimonies since 2007|
The March of Remembrance hopes to honor, educate, remember, and engage in every city on the annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Day for Holocaust Remembrance). We are a grass-roots volunteer organization of christians who want to make sure that the lessons of the Holocaust will not be forgotten by new generations.
We are Christians praying and walking together to provide a platform for Holocaust survivors and their descendants to give public testimony while we still have them. In some of these cities, we raise support to help Holocaust survivors living in Israel today
The March of Remembrance is:
- a statement against all forms of oppression but specifically anti-semitism.
- an opportunity for people everywhere to break the silence of indifference.
- Has an inter-faith event and a memorial observance for Jewish people, so please be considerate of that. Be extremely sensitive on this day of remembering a great tragedy of the Jewish people and please don't bring overtly Christian signs or banners.
- not a protest.
- not a political rally.
- not a publicity stunt.
- simply eye-witnesses giving truthful testimony so this generation can be educated by the facts of history.
