The Pub Church is just what it sounds like, a church in a pub that also unapologetically celebrates the diversity of our human experience in its many forms. The hope is to gather with all the gifts and differences we each bring and together participate in a (possibly) new divine reality, which is always under construction, of course. Our "sermons" are conversational and we like to mix things up. We are affiliated with a mainline Protestant denomination, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), but are not exclusively Christian. We eat and drink during the service. And both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available (you have to be 21 years old to have alcoholic drinks, of course).

As we state in our welcome each week, “All we bring is welcome.”
We meet in a pub because it’s a place where we can eat and drink together and a place where many of us already feel at home. We recognize this is not true for all people.
The structure of our gatherings varies but we do also keep some constant elements like communion, sharing of resources, conversational sermons and eating and drinking together. We usually have a musician perform, the kind that fits in the pub atmosphere – usually buskers we have met on the T.
