My name is Joe and I've been tinkering and repairing guitars ever since I was a lad. After training as a luthier, I've now been doing it professionally more than a decade and I haven't broken anything yet...
With twenty years experience, I've handled, serviced and repaired almost all types of guitars, from the more familiar Fenders and Gibsons to more boutique builders such as Trussart and McPherson.
Mission
The aim of Cup of Joe's Tone Workshop is offer a friendly and flexible service to cater for the busy lifestyle of professional guitar players, gigging musicians and passionate hobbyists alike. I know from experience that load ins and sound checks have got to happen, if you don't have an hour to spare to drive to the repair shop, not a problem - I'm mobile, baby! If you're in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole or even a little bit further, I can bring the guitar repair shop to you!

Charges are quoted upon inspection. Minimum fee is £10. No job too small, we can do; Set-Ups, Re-Strings, Pickup Installations, Electrical Faults, Replacing Parts, Modifications, Head Stock Breaks and more! Can't see your problem listed here? Ask me anyway!

To cater to the hectic rigours of modern life, Cup of Joe's Tone Workshop offers a service of convenience you won't find anywhere else... A mobile guitar repair service that will come to your door! Whether that's an after hours home visit or during a band rehearsal!
Don't want me hanging around? (I don't blame you!) I can even collect your instrument, service and return it to you when it suits you. A bit like a guitar-based Deliveroo!
With my streamlined operation I can offer a quick service with minimal wait times. Nobody wants to be without their beloved guitar for any stretch of time and the nature of the Tone Workshop lets me get your guitar back in your hands as soon as possible.
Surcharges are applicable to mobile services based on mileage and distance. You are of course, always welcome to simply leave your guitar with me and collect it when it's ready, if you prefer.
