This walk climbs out of Simonburn passing the site of the castle before heading north giving excellent views of the North Tyne valley and Chipchase Castle.
The route passes the intriguingly named ‘Catless’ farm before climbing up onto Ravenshaugh crags with the ‘Goatstones’ stone circle.
Please dress for changeable weather, wear walking boots or shoes and bring drinks and snacks. If you have not already booked online, please pay on arrival.
