À propos Frontier Support
At Frontier Support we’ve been providing specialist help and support to vulnerable adults in London and the South East since 2006. Our clients have a variety of needs including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Aspergers, Epilepsy, Mental & Physical Health issues and Challenging Behaviour. We provide domiciliary care in the clients’ homes and also support them out in the community. We love what we do and our aim is to enable our clients to live active and socially inclusive lives incorporating routines, hobbies and learning of their choosing. These might include life skills such as managing their own money, cooking and doing their food shopping or perhaps taking part in a weekly club or class or even getting to the cinema. We are registered with the Care and Quality Commission as a Domiciliary Care Provider and we are experts in care and support for vulnerable adults. We are not a Franchise or an Agency and all our support workers are employed directly by us.
Description
"We have over 130 wonderful staff and we do our best to match support workers to our clients after fully assessing their needs. We’re one of the few care providers to give staff permanent contracts and we encourage them all to seek professional qualifications. As a result, our staff turnover rate is far below the industry average, which means much better continuity of care and support for our clients.
We’re very proud to have a dedicated in-house trained clinical team with many years’ experience in the care and support field. Being able to call on this expertise rather than having to involve the NHS leads to faster decisions for the client and support that is much more responsive to their needs.
The number of support hours each client receives is determined by their individual needs. It can be anything from a few hours each week to 24 hours a day. We are an Approved Care Provider for several London Boroughs and our services can be funded in a variety of ways:
• Social Care Funding
• Continuing NHS Care Funding
• Clients paying privately or using their Personal Independence Payments
Our Head Office is in Croydon, where we also manage a purpose designed environment called the Buzzz Hub which provides a safe and welcoming space for vulnerable adults. We currently offer a range of workshops and can accommodate groups of up to 10 including support staff.
In addition, our partnership with specialist housing provider, Zetetick Housing affords our clients a genuine choice of suitable accommodation in settings where they are not obliged to share. For some people this is often the first step in developing their independence."
