Description GOILANAI UNITS

Goilanai bugalows were the prototype for the Napatana Lodge bungalows. They belong to Gretta Kwasnicka Todurawai, who is 50% shareholder in Napatana Lodge, and who lives next door. These are tropical timber bungalows located in Goilanai, overlooking the Bay. They are secure and screened.

There is a living area with a double and a single bed in each. The ensuite bathroom has both hot and cold water and a shower. There is also a reasonably sized veranda overlooking the Bay. Between the two bungalows, there is a breezeway, that can also be used for cooking. There is wifi available or data via Digicel, the local mobile network. Top up using your mobile connection.

The bungalows each have a small fridge, ceiling fan, cable tv, a two burner gas top, an electric jug, toaster, rice cooker and frying pan/wok. There are cooking and eating utensils. We provide bedding and towels. We clean the rooms daily and provide a security guard in the evenings. While we do not really consider this to be essential, this is more for our peace of mind because we are often out all evening at the lodge and both house and bungalows are unattended. Our dogs would do the job but most guests are scared of them!

Town water is safe to drink but bottled water is available if you prefer. As we are up on the hill, water is frequently cut. We use a tank with a pump that kicks in when the water is off. The tanks get filled using town water or rain water.

Kedu's is a little general store just around the corner, that sells everything and is open from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week. There is also a small afternoon market outside. Near the store is the town bus stop. The bus starts at around 7 am and goes to the town at a K1 flat rate. Last bus home is around 7 pm but there are local taxis that can be called that are reliable and safe

We charge K250 a night, single or double, and K300 if there are three of you. The price includes laundry to be washed and sun dried. P
