Impact Roasters

IMPACT ROASTERS is a family-owned business, which started as love between two people with different affection to coffee.

Daniel, a native Ethiopian, grown up in the coffee-motherland and Nidzara, a Bosnian-Dane, big coffee lover, and consumer.

The company was established in start of 2015 and started as importer of green coffee beans from family and neighboring coffee farms and as the promoter of high quality coffee with focus on ecology and quality as well as helping change the living conditions of coffee farmers and their families through engaging the farmers and communities in various developmental activities in education, health, youth employment and various income generating activities.

The company has now the coffee shop and roastery at Langgade station, where they roast green Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Sidama and Limu coffee beans and serve coffee beverages.

Impact Roasters is working through the community initiative ‘Coffeprint4Change’ to manage a series of development projects in rural parts of Southern Ethiopia. The projects, including sewing and handicraft courses, concrete block and tiles production, woodwork and metal workshops, libraries, computer labs and clean water facilities, are carried out by local people to support employment and strengthen economic development.

The aim is also to bring coffee producers and coffee lovers closer to each other, to educate Danish customers about coffee production and the effect of the climate change on coffee.
