Lipidology skincare is a family owned business based in Ontario, Canada.
Our headquarters is in Toronto and we source beef suet from farmers in rural Ontario who have received organic certifications, ensuring that the tallow we use is of the highest quality.

Each product is made with certified organic, grass-fed/finished tallow.

Our slow rendering and filtration method removes any beefy smell from the tallow.

The active ingredient in Lipidology skincare products is 100% certified organic grass fed/finished bovine tallow that we source from local farmers in Ontario. The other ingredients that we use are from suppliers that also have organic, fairtrade and sustainability certifications.

Lipidology cosmetics are all natural and designed for sensitive skin. Best sellers include face and body creams, balms, soaps, beer shampoo, conditioner, deodorants, chapsticks, magnesium foot cream and more! Lipidology beef tallow is rich in nourishing fatty acids, is naturally anti-inflammatory, has regenerative properties and includes naturally occurring bioavailable vitamins. All of our products are handcrafted from scratch in small batches in Toronto. Lipidology is a woman-owned family business.

Our mission is to provide customers with natural skincare products that help them achieve their aesthetic goals while using all natural, organic and sustainable ingredients that provide cosmetic benefits while also respecting the earth and society. We use natural alternatives to conventional cosmetics that use synthetic ingredients and materials that have negative impacts on the environment and communities across complex supply chains. We believe in the transformative power of natural ingredients.

Our journey began in 2019 when Lipidology founder Despina Diamantopoulos was researching alternatives to conventional cosmetics. When she discovered the remarkable benefits of organic tallow, she began her search for a supplier that had an organic certification. At the time, the only tallow based cosmetic companies on the market were based in the US and to this day, Lipidology is the only Canadian cosmetic brand that sources its suet (the raw material from which we derive tallow) from suppliers with organic certifications.
