SHU Media Exchange is an annual event for students and media professionals to share thoughts about trends and developments in the media industry.
SHU Media Exchange connects students from Sacred Heart University’s Master’s in Communication Program (MACOMM) with established media professionals and innovative leaders from the field of communications. The annual forum, produced by MACOMM students, will foster new relationships among media and communications professionals throughout Connecticut’s “Creative Corridor,” and provide MACOMM students and Sacred Heart alumni with the opportunity to gain valuable insights from industry mentors.
The SHU Media Exchange is coordinated and produced by students in Sacred Heart University’s MACOMM program and serves as a platform for discussion of current topics in the media industry. The 2017 Media Exchange event will focus on the very current topic of fake news in the digital age.
Join us on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 at 6pm for Fake News, Real Problems: Journalism and Education in the Digital Era. The event will be held at the brand new Martire Business and Communications center at Sacred Heart University.
