It is named Skadarlijia, as Skadarlijia is a well-known name of an old artistic town in Serbia, which is very beloved by Serbians and tourists. In 2007 most Serbian communities moved out from the Parkdale area, thus it was turned into a local dive bar but it still belonged to the same owner Sam, and the interior design remained the same.
