The beautiful and historic Tremont Street Shul was built in 1924. It became the home of Cambridge’s only remaining Jewish congregation in 1962, when Temple Anshei Ashkenaz and Congregation Beth Israel merged to form Temple Beth Shalom. Today, reflecting the diverse population of Cambridge, TBS represents a unique, creatively traditional approach to Judaism. Our goal is to make Jews of every affiliation feel at home. Impossible? Try us.
