Alderfer Lumber & Live Edge Slabs is a lumber store and sawmill that supplies high quality specialty hardwood lumber and live edge slabs to woodworkers all over the country. They stock a variety of wood species, including black walnut, maple, white oak, red oak, hemlock, poplar, cherry, and ash, among others. Their hardwood lumber is available in rough cut and planed varieties, in sizes ranging from 4/4 to 8/4 and more, and they are able to custom mill lumber to their customers' specifications. In addition to their regular stock, they also offer some reclaimed barnwood lumber. Their selection of live edge slabs includes bookmatch slabs, wood slabs, black walnut slabs, epoxy table slabs, dining table slabs, coffee table slabs, and natural edge lumber suitable for countertops and other projects. They also provide wood planing, straight line ripping, architectural wood services, and occasionally kiln drying.
