|Chi siamo||Birmingham St Mary's Hospice provides end of life care and support to individuals and their families, carers and loved ones across Birmingham and Sandwell.|
Our vision is a future where the best experience of living is available to everyone leading up to and at end of life.
Our mission is to reach more people and achieve 'Hospice Care for All' - ensuring the best hospice care and support is available for all patients, families and carers across our community, wherever and whenever they need it.
We are an independent adult hospice providing end of life care and support to people across Birmingham and Sandwell. We offer a range of services at our Hospice in Selly Oak, in people’s homes and in the local community, all of which give individuals more choice and makes our care and expertise more accessible.
[Please be aware this Facebook account is managed from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday]
We currently care for over 1,200 individuals per year, but estimate that this is only 50% of the people who need our services. It costs over £8 million each year to run Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and over 50% of our income comes from voluntary donations.
Every penny we raise enables vital care, compassion and comfort to be available to more people whenever and wherever they need it. If volunteering is more your thing, we have a variety of exciting roles on offer and are always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join our team. However you wish to support us, you will really will make a huge difference to local families living with terminal illness.
