Cardiff Business School is widely regarded as one of the leading business and management schools in the UK. We educate approximately 3,500 students annually, including 1,000 international students, and enjoy a global reputation for research, teaching and learning.
We are also the world's first Public Value Business School, committed to promoting economic and social improvement through interdisciplinary, challenge-led research, teaching and engagement. Our aim is to tackle the grand challenges facing society, such as innovation, inequality, sustainability, and access to decent work.
In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF), the School was ranked 6th in the UK out of 101 business and management schools for the quality of its research. We were ranked joint first for our research environment and 86% of our submitted research was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent.
Our success in REF 2014 made us one of only two business schools in the UK to be ranked in the top ten in each of the Government’s five assessment exercises since 1992.
