Brew up a small batch with big results!

If you’ve always thought all grain brewing was outside your reach because of elaborate systems and complicated instructions, then listen up. Midwest is proud to offer you the easiest and most convenient way to make your own all-grain beer at home.

The small size is a great way to begin brewing, and makes a fantastic gift. It’s perfect for apartments, or brewers who simply don’t have the space to spare for burners, kettles, carboys, and kegs. We've embraced the ‘less is more’ philosophy and put together a set of equipment that has everything you need - and nothing you don’t - to get you going from grain to glass today!

Instructor - Carlene Worthington

From the structure of yarn to the process of fermentation, I am amazed at the organismal and molecular interactions required. I had been thinking of learning to brew for years. I moved to Utah and found it to be a beautiful state but highly regulated when it comes to alcoholic beverages. I missed the selection of ciders I used to have available and decided I needed to fix the situation.

One day I walked into a store and found a brewing kit on sale and the deal was done. This was over three years ago and I am still enjoying the vagaries of brewing. It isn't hard. It isn't even labor intensive aside from the first day. But there is a lot to learn and a lot of science. There is a lot of fun with experimentation and the satisfaction of being able to sit down with something you created and relax. And in general, it is actually cheaper than buying it. Unless you drink PBR. Nothing is cheaper than that.
