Troop 520 is a girls-only troop started on February 1, 2019. Girls aged 11 - 17 from any area are welcome to join. Participating girls will have the opportunity to earn the coveted Eagle Award while they attend the many BSA camps like Bert Adams in Covington, GA and Woodruff Scout Camp in Blairsville, Ga. We will also participate in High Adventure programs like Philmont Scout Ranch, Northern Tier Canoe Base, Lousiana's jewl Swamp Base and Florida Sea Base.
Weekly meetings will be girl-led and offer the opportunity to work on merit badges and other scouting activities. Camp outs will be offered monthly so girls can work on scout skills and rank advancement.
Troop 520 meets every Thursday evening at County Line United Methodist Church at 7:00pm.
