ROWI started ROWI with the intention of offering the highest quality care using both evidence-based and holistic methods, which our clients need in such difficult times. Most programs claim to provide individualized care, but we struggled to find a program that could maintain the level of excellence that we wanted to provide. We knew that working with the parents was a critical piece of the treatment puzzle, and we have come to work with them not only passively but as a key part of treatment and prevention.

It is difficult to admit that our community has a significant demand for adolescent treatment. ROWI are fortunate to live in wonderful neighborhoods, send our kids to great schools and enjoy a safe environment. What we don’t always understand is that too many of our teens are struggling with mental health problems or substance use that must be addressed — with the child and his or her parents.
