|O nas||The Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition (SVCCC) is a partnership of public, private agencies, businesses, and interested citizens dedicated to the advancement of alternative fuels in order to improve the air quality of the Silicon Valley. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the mission of the Clean Cities program is to enhance our nation's energy security and air quality by supporting public and private partnerships that deploy clean-burning Alternative Fuel Vehicles and build their associated fueling infrastructure.|
|Misja||The Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition members work together to promote and expand alternative fuel vehicles and improve air quality, hold educational and training workshops, support alternative fuel legislation, and decrease the dependence on imported oil in order to increase national security and environmental quality.|
The Coalition is dedicated to promoting and implementing the use of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs), building a supporting infrastructure, and fulfilling the goals and objectives of the Coalition. Members of the Coalition act as resources for each other and share ideas on how to implement our goals and objectives.
We aim to promote the awareness of alternative fuels to improve air quality in the Silicon Valley Region and to encourage AFV use thus enhancing energy security and environmental quality at both the national and local levels.
SVCCC is headed by a Board of Directors. The Coalition has staffed a panel of experts that is available to help you with fuel specific questions and implementation assistance on cleaner vehicles.
