Herts & Essex Community Farm is a non for profit community project working on an ex-allotment site in Fold Croft, growing organic fruits, vegetables and herbs.
We need your help!
We will be managing the areas of the land we have cleared and planted, these areas need weeding, watering and harvesting.
On the Day:
We begin at 10am and finish around 2pm, there is no expectation that you have to stay all day and more than welcome to come down at anytime.
We have enough tools and gloves for everyone.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, including good footwear such as wellies or old trainers.
We eat lunch together as it is provided by a volunteer. Please bring your own lunch if you would prefer or if you have allergies.
There are basic facilities at the farm which include: wheelchair access toilet, sheltered area and hot drinks. We have no running water or electricity.
The site is accessible from road, you can get directions from the following link and the and nearest postcode is CM20 1SE
To access the site drive into Hobtoe Road and you will see a sign that says Harlow Judo Club follow the signs along the access road past the existing allotments and you will see Foldcroft on your left hand side. You can park past the site in the car park area.
We look forward to seeing you there, please come along for as long as you wish :)
