In this all-levels workshop, we will dig deeper into chaturanga, updog and downdog, helping to support your practice and create safe and sustainable movement patterns.
In taking the time to break down chaturanga (or high to low push up), many aspects of yoga become more accessible and stable, enabling you to practice with “effortless effort” and move into advanced asana (postures) with more confidence and support. By focusing on how to safely and efficiently move through upward and downward facing dog, we’ll work on maintaining safe shoulders and a happy lower back (some of the more common yoga injuries are shoulder and low back related).
With the aim of giving you the knowledge and tools to keep yourself safe and practicing for years to come, this workshop will be a collaborative learning environment where questions are encouraged and all bodies and levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to attend.
