You know that having an online presence for your business is important, but are you SURE you're using all the resources on the internet to realize your business's fullest potential? Zeekee, the City of Birmingham Office of Economic Development, SCORE, and the Birmingham Public Library is sponsoring a Grow Your Business Online workshop from 10:00 am – 11:30 am, Tuesday, April 17 at the Central Library Linn Henley Research Building 4th Floor.
This hands-on workshop will cover three things you can do right now to grow your business online. Sure, you want to be found by local customers and show up on local searches, but don't you also want to be found everywhere, on all devices? We can show you how. You'll learn about email and social media marketing, getting the most out of your Google listing, and tips and tricks for getting customers to notice you, now, plus much more. This workshop will also cover step-by-step instructions about how to get found on Google Search and Maps and the next steps you can take with your business to reach your goals.
Small businesses are nearly 3x as likely to reach more customers and new markets when they fully adopt digital tools. Yet, less than 1 in 6 small businesses in Alabama have a listing on a search engine.
The seminar is in the Richard Arrington Auditorium in the Lynn Henley Research Building located at the Birmingham Central Library. Registration begins at 9:30am. The seminar is from 10:00 to 11:30 am. The class is free to all small businesses. Space is limited. Please register using the provided link. Registration closes at 5pm on Monday, April 16, 2018.
