And immediately after the fence ends the village and the forest begins. Sand beaches (including nudist beaches), swimming in any of the five crystal-clear, sand-bottom ponds by the sand dune, bike trips, hiking, fishing on the rivers Lužnice and Nežárka or in the ponds, canoeing and rafting, educational trails (there are two nature reservations inside the village), combing for forest fruits (blueberries, ligonberries, blackberries, mushrooms), and sports possibilities at two playing fields. Due to the flat landscape, this area makes sports activities easy and safe for families with small children and for anyone with physical restrictions.

The newly built (2012) Pension U hájovny (by gamekeeper's house) is located in a nice and quiet place on the edge of the village.The capacity of the three rooms is 11 beds with the possibility of adding another 4 beds. The spacious rooms are equipped with modern furniture and private adjoining rooms(bathroom, anteroom), terrace, large garden with children's playground and Internet connection.
