If you’re a parent who has bought a digital SLR with the aim of getting beautiful, natural photos of your children, but you’re struggling with the complexity of your camera, the Small Beans Photo School is for you.

I believe that every parent is capable of taking stunning photographs that capture the soul of their own unique family. They just need a real person to show them in a simple way how to take control of their camera.

My name is Claire Ward-Dutton, and I’m a photographer, designer and mum of two young children. Small Beans is my photo school and it teaches one thing and one thing only – how to take beautiful, natural photos of your children.

I promise my students three things:

1) I keep it as simple as possible. I teach you only what you NEED to know., and you don’t have to be a technical genius to understand it

2) It’s a fun, friendly environment, where a group of like-minded parents do practical things and learn by experimenting and trying things rather than just sitting and listening.

3) Your photography will improve. You will be amazed at the difference a few enjoyable hours at the school makes.

4) You get a really good cake (OK, that’s 4).
