As a church going family we were raised as Christians. Growing up in a small Christian community in North Carolina everyone kept God in their hearts and lived every day with Jesus. We believe that God almighty watches over us and guides us to peace and happiness. We enjoy expressing those beliefs to fellow Christians. We always believed that a God loving society can thrive in times of hardship because we know God has a plan and that everything happens for a reason.
The Christian Church in our community was prominent in the affairs of the faithful; they gave back as much as they received. Our Church set up many events for our local communities to help people in need and people with troubled hearts. These events set up in God’s name gave people the courage to do things that were bigger than themselves.
One of those things was this. We loved creating wonderful designs to put on Christian t-shirts and Christian sweatshirts. The goal was to look stylish and fashionable while also spreading the words of the Lord. We hoped to wear Christian shirts that would not only express our beliefs but, give us a chance to be fashion-forward without looking too preachy. This gave us the idea for Christian Strong™; a Christian clothing company that would allow people of all ages to express their faith in a way that matched their contemporary lifestyle. With God in our hearts, we set out to create this company that would give Christians a way to show their faith proudly.
We were afraid at first to begin such a grand idea to create all kinds of Christian apparel such as: Christian t-shirts, Christian hoodies and Christian tank tops, considering so many things could go wrong. But we remembered a passage from Deuteronomy 31:6 that reads: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
