The era of Trump has also proven to be the era of the Women's marches, the #MeToo and #Timesup movements against sexual assault - specifically in the work-place, and even a resurgence in direct action in defense of abortion clinics. Now is a critical time for marxist-feminists, and those interested in marxist-feminism, to learn from the history of the women's movement, to debate theory and strategy, and to participate in the process of building a movement which can fight all forms of gender-based oppression, as well as contribute to a broader resurgence in Left and working class politics in the U.S. Join the Hunter College branch of the International Socialist Organization for a three part study group on Sharon Smith's Women and Socialism: Class, Race, and Capital - available here from Haymarket Books (with free e-book):
