Join us for an exclusive evening of jazz and history in one of Singapore's more storied heritage Black & White houses in Alexandra Park.
The evening, hosted by the resident of this beautiful and historically-significant home, will be a tribute to the men who battled here, some of whom paid the ultimate price. Guests will have the chance to learn about the history of the home well as the iconic Alexandra Park area from Jane, who will be leading brief tours of this stunning B&W home.
Renowned archeologist Jon Cooper — author of "Tigers in the Park" about the February 1942 battle for Adam Park — will attend as our guest of honour to talk about the WWII history of the Kent Ridge, Pasir Panjang and the Alexandra Park area.
Guests will also be treated to some evocative WWII-era Jazz music provided by James Flynn and his band, featuring Thailand’s No. 1 saxophonist, Koh Mr Saxman. For more on the band, please visit: www.flynnjazz.com and http://kohmrsaxman.com/home.html.
Ticket price** is inclusive of 2 glasses of wine per person (provided by TTG Wines) and assorted cheeses will be served (provided by the Cheese Shop).
