Naturally sensitive and fluid, with technically robust music-making directly from the heart, Namhee Han will perform beloved organ music from Bach and others in this sweeping afternoon concert. Having studied piano from age eight in her native South Korea, Han holds master’s and doctoral degrees in both organ performance and applied linguistics from UCLA. She gave the opening concert for the renowned Los Angeles Bach Festival in 2013 and her performances can be heard on the DVD The Story of the Walt Disney Concert Hall Organ and in American Public Media’s Pipedreams.
