Come to the library's open-mic poetry reading series “Poems by the Lake,” led by Alisha Hines, who received her MFA in Creative Writing: Poetry from Bowling Green State University. The theme for the reading is the poetry of witness and observation.
Those who attend the program are invited to read their favorite poems aloud on any subject or simply listen in the library by the lake. In celebration of poetry, participants are encouraged to read their own original works and poems they admire by published poets.
