Brain Injury Australia and its consortium partners - Domestic Violence Victoria, Monash University, No to Violence (incorporating the Men's Referral Service) and the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare - invite you to the launch of a major report; Australia's first attempt at estimating "the prevalence of acquired brain injury among family violence victims and perpetrators", (Recommendation 171 of the Victorian Royal Commission into Family Violence).
You will hear about:
- the report’s findings and recommendations;
- the local and international evidence for the rates and impact of brain injury and family violence; and
- what can be done to close the gaps in services and supports for both victims and perpetrators.
This is a free event.
Light refreshments will be served.
